About Us
Our establishment is named in honor of the late James J. City (1918-2004). He was born and raised in Blanco, TX and moved to Austin as a young man where he operated as a local businessman in the construction industry. He dedicated his life to serving others and made his mouth-watering bar-b-que to share with family & friends for more than 70-years. James J. City was the grandfather of our owner, and everyone that knew him affectionately called him Papa (pronounced: Paw-Paw). Continuing the tradition, at Paw-Paw's BBQ, we want you to enjoy down-home cooking that's meant to be shared with family & friends.

You can purchase your items online and pick them up at our location 9817 Anderson Mill Rd., Austin, TX 78750 or take advantage of our game day delivery service.
We offer free delivery for Baylor football home games when tailgating at McLane Stadium or within a 1-mile radius.
At the Secure Checkout page, you‘ll see the ordered item’s description, its price, and delivery time. Where available, you can also choose a faster delivery method for each item on your order for an additional fee. Delivery times vary depending on your selected delivery address, availability of your items, and the time of the day you place your order.
